With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, many people will embrace the day while some will think Valentine’s day is over-commercialised or be glad to see the back of it. Although it is not an official holiday, this ‘day of love’ has become a tradition that is celebrated around the world. So, is there anything wrong for one day to remind someone that you love them?

Nothing says that you have to spend a fortune and sometimes the simplest and most personal ideas mean more including a card. I was speaking to someone a few months ago and he said for his birthday he asked his kids not to buy him a present but just to give him a card. To him, a card that they had taken time to find meant more to him than buying a present for the sake of it. So maybe a card that you have taken time and effort can mean more to your loved one than anything else?

most imporatnt thing about a card is the person who receives it
